After the thrilling Dog's Head walk you will be inspired by the natural setting of Willack Village and perhaps would like to spend one more extra night. Willack is known for its remoteness but on a little paradise as you wake up to the sound of the wave, magnificient long sandy beach. A great spot to see the sunset and enjoy the hospitality of the villagers.
You will get a real experience of how the people live. You will be guided to the school, go to the garden, collect fresh fruits and come back to make your dinner.

Description:
The tour duration is about 2 hours.Your guide leads you on a 10 minute walk to the primary school, meet the students and teachers. You will then walk through the gardens and bush to experience the local way of making gardening. You will harvest fruits, vegetables and root crops and bring it back. Have lunch then together with your host you will prepare laplap (Traditional dish of grated yam, taro, banana etc, on banana leaf and bake in the earth oven). for dinner. While the laplap is the oven, the ladies can join the village ladies to weave the mat, go snorkeling and enjoy the sunset or even just chatting with the locals. You will joint the family to have the dish you all have prepared and then the next day you can head back to Lakatoro. |
