off 'mainland' Lakatoro this is a wonderful retreat. Two coastal bungalows are located in the Nawov Coastal Sanctuary where marine life has been protected for over 20 years. The bungalows are named after the winds that blow from the south-east making Nawov a pleasant place to stay even in the hottest months. A great base to explore Uripiv Island and to go explore the surrounding reefs. Featuring free snorkelling access to the marine reserve, and a quiet jungle setting immersed in Ni-Vanuatu ‘smol’ Island custom and culture. 

Accommodation

​Nawov Freshwind has two private bungalows built of local materials – one twin and one double with a separate external bathroom featuring shower and flush toilet with a skylight to the sky.  ​
